Off-campus access to Exam Papers

Past exam papers can be accessed from the library website. See our Exam Papers guide for information on how to do this.

If you're accessing the exam papers from off-campus you'll be prompted to log in.

You can find the username and password for off-campus access to exam papers here by entering your student or DIT staff number and library PIN. Please note that the username and password for off-campus access to the Exam Papers is different to those that you use to access library databases and e-journals.

Access from home / outside the DIT network

For access from outside DIT - you need a unique Username and Password WHICH you can get HERE after entering your Student Number and Library PIN.

Please note that the Username and Password for off-campus access to past Exam Papers is different to what you normally use to access databases and e-journals.

Altmetrics - what are they and how are they used?

Are you interested in learning more about Altmetrics?

Altmetrics are a new way to measure the impact of academic research, taking into account mentions on social media,  Mendeley bookmarks etc.

www.altmetric.com is offering a series of webinars on the basics of altmetrics, and the ways in which institutions are using the data.

Christmas Opening Hours

Extended Library opening hours after Christmas


Students have asked and we have responded positively!

Aungier Street and all other DIT Libraries will be open on Friday & Saturday (2nd & 3rd January 2015) 10.00am to 5pm. This is to facilitate students studying for exams.


Christmas Break

All libraries will close for the Christmas Holiday from 5pm on Tuesday 23rd of December. And will re-open on Friday 2nd January at 10.00 am

We wish all staff and students a very happy Christmas.

Training Room available all day Tuesday as overflow computer area

The Library Training Room is available all day today, Tuesday 2nd December, as an overflow computer area.

The Training Room is located at the back of the library, next to the main computer area - just log on with your usual DIT Services username and password.

There are more computers available on the upper floor of the library and in the computer labs throughout the building.

Each day we post signs in the computer area letting you know when the room is free, and when it's in use for a class.



The Training Room is a silent study area.
